Civil War Soldier Photo Framedsword Belt PlatepistolUp for bids. Authentic framed photo fo a civil war soldier. This auction is for a photo of a young civil war calvary soldier wearing his uniform. In this photo you can see his pistlo tucked into his belt on his side. You also can see his sword belt plate on his belt. He is wearing ihs riding gloves and kepi. The buttons are noticable on the front of his jacket. Very clear image! sA for the back mark. Burchfied & bottorf from my understanding took photos in a traveling shop aboard a train duirng the civil war in what they called their mammoth car. And fro the frame. Ist the original frame that was available to the soldiers then. Its in very good condition and the gold matting around the picture is aswell. The matting has a flower print stamped on it. A very clear image of a calvary soldier with pistol, & plate. Very nice original frame with matting. All together thsi makes a great display!
